The Kasubi site is one of the 31 royal tombs across the Buganda kingdom. The main building in the centre is circular and 31 metres in circumference and surmounted by a dome 7.5 metres high. A low arch opens up to sacred spaces inside, which are separated by reed partitions,with mementos of the kabakas (Kings).
