One of the two Bondi gunmen who was hospitalised after the attack has woken from a coma. Naveed Akram, 24, was shot after he allegedly opened fire on the crowd at the beach, specifically an event celebrating Hanukkah on the grassy area near the sand. 23 Dec 2025: A morning accident on Dec 22 at a traffic light intersection in Sri Rampai, Setapak turned chaotic when an ambulance collided with a Myvi before veering into another lane and hitting four motorcycles and a car. The incident, believed to have occurred at around 8.17am, left a 40-year-old male motorcyclist with serious injuries, including a fractured right thigh. Other victims, including the ambulance driver, passenger, four motorcyclists and a 9-year-old girl sustained minor injuries
