A woman died Friday night after she was hit by a car in Springfield, according to police. Springfield police responded to the crash at the intersection of Belmont Avenue and Burlington Street at 6:35 p.m., a department spokesperson wrote on social media. The woman was taken to Baystate Medical Center where she died of her injuries.
