The Kansas City metro is under a winter storm warning. It's expected to see snow and bitterly cold temperatures starting Friday evening, which will affect city services and people’s ability to drive.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City snow crews are ready as the first shift clocks in. The city’s Public Works Department will deploy 175 trucks per shift with approximately 360 drivers rotating throughout the storm in what the city calls a $1.7 million operation.
