Houston weather forecast: Next cold front arrives Thursday night
A cold front will sweep through Thursday night, shifting winds to the north and beginning yet another round of windy and colder weather in Houston.
This week will stay on the warm side, but sunshine each afternoon will give way to dense morning fog, then cloudier skies and eventually rain chances.
The region is expected to briefly thaw Monday afternoon before another hard freeze at night. The National Weather Service forecasts more freezing weather this weekend.
Sunday’s forecast brings more good news for anyone getting together for Super Bowl Sunday. Temperatures will hit the mid-70s with a bit of a breeze shifting from the south and southeast. Humidity may start to creep up a touch later in the day, but there’s no threat of rain to spoil those get-togethers.
