A west wind tonight could gust over 50 mph at times as the damaging wind threat continues. Lake-effect snow will be in the area and treacherous travel where the squalls establish themselves. Locally over 5″ of additional snow is possible in squalls.
Our FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY continues through this morning. Wind driven snow is ending across the area. The National Weather Service continues a Winter Storm Warning for into the afternoon. A Blizzard Warning also continues for Door County until 9am.
