Capt. Ben Miller with the Lincoln Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit on Monday said 30-year-old Jerica Hamre’s body was found on a rural farm just north of Oxford.

A body has been recovered from California’s Mount Whitney amid the search for a young hiker who was reported missing days after his 21st birthday.

47-year-old Cord Trout's body was found in a dumpster in the area of 136th Street and Discovery Drive around 4:40 p.m. Saturday, according to Omaha police. Omaha police say Trout was an Omaha resident. The Douglas County Coroner's Office determined Trout died of cold exposure.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - The Jackson Police Department is investigating after a body was found in a burned vehicle. Officers with JPD and firefighters with the Jackson Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Eddy Street on Monday night. A body was found in the vehicle shortly after arriving at the scene.
