In a letter from CEO Brian Rolapp, the Tour finally outlined parameters for certain LIV players looking to find their way back. And, as it turns out, former LIV player Brooks Koepka is one of four players who meets the criteria. He will be immediately reinstated on Tour.

McIlroy argued that LIV players such as Bryson DeChambeau have already "paid their consequence" for joining the Saudi-backed rival league, which launched in 2022.

Given that 16 holes of the Plantation course re-opened for play on Nov. 10, did the Tour make a premature decision two months prior?
